Stephen and I have just returned from a visit to Golden, the skihill is looking very inviting with deep snow at the base station! – this picture was taken at the bottom of the Eagle Express gondola.

Some of the Golden locals have hiked up the hill and been rewarded with bottomless powder and it is only November!!

Since our visit another big storm has passed through Kicking Horse/Golden and deposited yet more snow. With so much snow and with opening day now just a week away, the excitement and anticipation for the season is mounting.
